Why ?<\/b><\/p>\n

People with autism, multiple disabilities, intellectual, cognitive, psychic disabilities or, more broadly, those whose disabilities lead to atypical behaviours have very little access to ordinary culture and leisures<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

Indeed, they are spectators who can speak loudly, laugh, applaud or shout when they are happy or worried, move… Their behaviour effectively excludes them from cultural places.<\/span><\/p>\n

Relax sessions are just adapted so that everyone – whatever the level of his disability –\u00a0 enjoy going to the cinema with others spectators<\/strong>.<\/span><\/p>\n

Dare to take the first step to attend the Cin\u00e9 Relax sessions. The supervisors are aware of the difficulties related to this. But within the Cin\u00e9 Relax sessions, there is no judgment. The sessions are totally adapted to the audience we welcome.<\/p>\n

But what is a relax session ?<\/b><\/p>\n

The device implemented within the Cin\u00e9 Relax network is essentially a human device<\/strong>. It is designed to inform, surround and reassure spectators.<\/p>\n

The sessions take place on weekends in all-public cinemas<\/strong>. A minimum of facilities is proposed: light slowly fading, sound lowered, absence of advertisements and trailers, but the essential consists in a warm welcome<\/strong> by a trained reception team.<\/span><\/p>\n

All the spectators are clearly informed<\/strong> of the specifics of the session and the reception team is present throughout the screening<\/strong> to help depending on the needs of each one.<\/span><\/p>\n

If they do not come in autonomy, the spectators remain under the responsibility of their accompanying person.<\/p>\n

These sessions are for everyone<\/strong> ! Thanks to the Relax device, disabled people or able-bodied people share the pleasure of a movie session.<\/span><\/p>\n
